SUPPLIES:  A 3-ring binder, loose-leaf paper, pencils or pens, and cover for your textbook are required.  You will be issued a TI-89 graphing calculator, for which you will be responsible.  Batteries are also your responsibility.  It must be brought to class daily, along with your covered textbook.

Exams: Cumulative exams are given during each chapter and are announced prior.   If an exam is missed due to an excused absence, it must be made up within a week of your return during a free period or after school.  Failure to take an exam will result in a 0.

BEHAVIOR:   Four simple rules:  Be in your seat and ready to work when the bell rings, follow directions the first time they are given, raise your hand and wait to be called on, and use appropriate language.

GRADING:   Your grade is the average of all test grades and your homework grade for the quarter.

HOMEWORK:  Assignments are given and checked or graded daily.  Assignments are averaged in as a test grade - you start with 100% and 5 points is deducted for each assignment missed. Failure to do assignments will have consequences.  Homework will not be accepted for any unexcused lateness to class.

Notes:  All students are to keep an organized binder, complete with a table of contents, daily notes, assignments, and exams.  If you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to get the notes missed. 

EXTRA-HELP:   Extra-help is available Monday through Thursday from 1:50 - 2:25.
